The quote above is from McCain’s concession speech. A speech I found moving and one of McCain’s best (not just because he was conceding the election).

For the first time since I’ve been elegible to vote, I feel like my vote, my voice actually made a difference. Sure, it helps when you live in a swing state, but I’m proud to have contributed to turning Florida blue. I think my favorite part of Obama’s speech was the Lincoln quote and his call for working towards unity. I’m glad the election is over. I’m thankful that Obama won. And I have hope that our country will move forward toward the America of our ideals and not return to the fear of others that has fueled the last decades.
