So today I went jogging for the first time in a few years. I found a pair of shoes that make it feel like you’re running barefoot and it’s an awesome experience. Well, until you accidentally step on a small stump, which happened rather early in the run. The best part of the run was on the grass. There’s something kind of fantastic about running through the grass in your barefeet.

The shoes are called the vibram 5 fingers. They’re pretty funny looking, since they fit kind of like a glove for your feet. The thing I’ve always hated about shoes in general is trying to find shoes that actually don’t cause toe scrunching or heel issues. It felt good to get out of the house and exercise a little. I’ve been so bad about doing anything lately healthwise. I hate letting myself down and that’s what I’ve been doing lately by not exercising. Activity good.
